This is a precise certificate that specifies more accurately the absolute precision of an instrument/product, i.e. For the Trumeter Road Wheel - a calibration certificate is more likely to say, "At 100m the wheel reads 99.63m". Thus, the user can be more precise with the measurements an work to a better standard of accuracy.
Do I Need A Certificate?
Most companies that are registered to a standard, i.e. BS5750 or ISO9000 etc., need to have machinery/instruments that are properly serviced and maintained. The best way to keep track of this is by certificates from the manufacturer/supplier. Their internal procedures mean they keep a record of Calibration/Certification and it must be renewed every six months or one year.
For the majority of situations our Certificate of Conformity is acceptable. This is provided free of charge with any new instrument and is included in the cost of the service.
If a Calibration Certificate is required, the item may need to be sent away or ordered specially, with an estimated delivery time of 2 weeks.
