When it comes to laser rangefinding, few instruments offer the extensive features of the TruPulse series, available now at York Survey Supply Centre.

"The TruPulse 200 is a low cost professional laser rangefinder with an inclinometer and data output," says York Survey’s sales manager, Saxon Stockwell-Brown, "This compact and lightweight laser is a flexible tool for your measurement needs. The TruPulse provides ‘thru-the-lens’ viewing, eliminating parallax issues so you know the laser energy is travelling directly along your line of sight."

"Utilising the TruPulse 200’s integrated tilt sensor, you can measure horizontal or vertical distance and instantly calculate the height of any object with the built-in 2 shot routine. Data communication is via RS232 serial on the standard model or you can go wireless with the BLUETOOTH option, TruPulse 200B."

"You can really step up your game with the TruPulse 360," Saxon continues, "It's almost an insult to even describe this powerful measurement tool as merely a "Laser Rangefinder" because its capabilities go far beyond just measuring a range. You can instantly determine slope distance, inclination and azimuth and calculate horizontal and vertical distance - all with a single push of a button."

"The latest electronic compass technology allows the instrument to take an accurate azimuth reading no matter how it is orientated in physical space," he adds, "The laser can be tilted, rolled or used upside down, and it will still measure the correct azimuth in the direction that the user is viewing, allowing ultimate freedom."

"TruVector compass technology allows a simple field calibration procedure. It evaluates the local magnetic environment and provides user feedback on the quality of calibration," says Saxon, "The Missing Line Routine calculates distances and angles to describe the relationship between 2 points in three-dimensional space. It is ideal for span lengths, crown spread, remote slope determinations and changes in elevation from one location."

"Data communication is via a wired RS232 serial on the standard model or, as before, you can go wireless with the BLUETOOTH option, TruPulse 360B."
