- The instrument is fully watertight in all conditions has high impact composite housing and a long battery life.
- Automatic self-levelling: The Leica Rugby 50 is designed to always turn on in self-levelling mode.
- H.I. (Elevation) Alert: This function monitors the levelling of the Leica Rugby 50. If the Rugby 50 takes a knock or disturbance the alert function will activate and stop its operation and sound an alarm preventing any possible errors.
- Out of Level indication: During normal operation the Rugby 50 continuously self-levels. Small vibrations or knocks may cause an out of level condition. The head will stop momentarily and the LED will blink until the unit re-levels itself and work can resume.
